Officejet 7510

hi

i own a hp office jet 7510

for a while now when i print in draft and normal quality i notice faded printing every few lines

if i print a document with a grey background there is an equal amount of faded white lines also showing. it seems to match up with the runner rollers as it is spaced out so equally

may explain why every few lines of text is faded. im not sure

i have run all the reports and maintenance. cleaning printer heads and alignments. but the streaks still show.

i only noticed it was ok when printing in best quality.

however ink levels r going down fast

i am out of warranty and do not want to pay for a call (£18) and then probably a service/repair. as i may as well buy a new printer for that price.

does anyone know if there is a solution or if i should bin the printer off

i can upload the print quality report if it helps or printing a grey background on a4 paper also of that helps?

as i am out of guarantee. it says id need to pay £18 to have a call.

and if i need an engineer it will go towards that

do you know how much that would cost.

if its like ,£60 i better off buying a new printer
