Recently my printer has lost the ability to auto duplex using the ADF when scanning or copying any documents.
This feature was previously there. I put it down to a new firmware being automatically pushed to my device.
I've been advised to use manual duplexing, but that's not what came with the device, and being blunt - this was the main reason for purchasing this device, along with the ability to handle A3!
I have reset the printer using 'reset printer defaults' from the web menu. I have reset using the hidden service menu. I think the term was semi-full reset. I have tried the HP Doctor app and have spent the last 4 days interacting with the HP Support WhatsApp.. with no joy!
I have tried using the HP Smart App - with no success.
I have tried using Windows and MacOS to access settings, with no change in results.
Oh, and I am using Original HP cartridges...
I need some help!

Hi @Colin_D1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
That is an excellent description and a great diagnosis. It is greatly appreciated.
According to the specs on the web, it does not have a duplexing ADF. However, you can do manual 2-sided scanning with the HP Scan software. It has duplex printing. Click here for the specifications.
Keep me posted for further assistance
