Solved: HP 7740 copy malfunction - HP Support Community

I am having problems during copy function. It is anormally slow and I cannot see how to configure to be as it was normal, since all the copy configuration settings are tuned to normal.

Hi JDSabino,

Open and close the input paper tray used for copying and evaluate the prompt on screen.

Ensure the correct paper type and size are selected (e.g. Plain Paper, US Letter / A4) and then check for any difference.

If the same persists tap Copy > Copy document and clik the gear icon, then select Restore Defautls and confirm any prompt and try copying again.

The problem was, I don't know why, the paper was set to bright paper...
