HP 7855 Envy

I'm just unwrapping my new 7855 and the printer just crashes sayiong Do Not Use Setup Cartridges. I have read a similar post recently and follow those instructions with no luck. Needless to say, I will return this printer tomorrow. My first and last HP printer. This sucks! Super BAD user experience.

Printer was returned, got a replacement, same model, same result, same return... swore i would nevwr go back to hp... next time kinkos and avoid the aggravation 🙂

Hi PochiR,

sorry to hear about your bad experience. Possibly there are some technial issues with very first printer setup flow happened to the printer hardware.

 

It show that the printer had been setup and it does not accept the cartridge goes with the printer. Can i suggest that you contact HP support, they will assist you to resolve this issue immediately.

Hey Pochi,

Likely what was indicated during setup  is to NOT USE THE ENCLOSED SOFTWARE DISC.  Rather to to 123.HP.com, where you can download/install the printer's software onto your computer, ipad, iphone, etc.  Reply if you need any info.  You may need to uninstall whatever you installed; but you could just try the site mentioned.  It automatically id's your device.  Worked like a charm for me.  Good luck.
