HP Officejet 8210

Hello all,

Last week we wanted to reset the WLAN password of the printer, but unfortunately this was not possible because the printer no longer let us log into its web interface.

The password is correct because it is stored in a central password safe including a history of changes. My guess is a bad firmware.

Anyway, I have already carried out the semi full reset/network reset etc. 3 times, unfortunately without success. What else can I do?
How do I get to the real full reset/factory reset?

Many thanks

Best Regards

Hello and thank you for your answer. I had contact to HP Support.

The employee who told me that yes, you have to reset the EWS. This only works directly on the printer. But when I was in the office, I didn't have the printer in front of me at that time.

In the afternoon I called HP again. We had several telephone conversations over the time. In the end, I was told that they could not help me. It should have been my own fault. If that was the case, it would be OK. But I looked through the entire password history in the password safe. There were no changes and only I had access. For this reason, I see it as a fault in the product.

Is there really no way to reset the EMS?
