Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Remove the ink cartridges and reset the printer.
-
Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the power source.
-
Wait at least 60 seconds.
-
Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
NOTE:
HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
-
Turn the printer on.
-
Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.
-
If you receive a prompt to print a calibration or alignment page, do so.
If the issue persists, I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team as this could be a hardware issue.

I have the same issue. I printed a document just fine, went to print another, and bam.. printhead error code 0xc19a0003. I have tried everything recommended and it still doesn't work. Unless it's a firmware update, because the one listed on HP's website for the 8610 doesn't work. I go through everything then it says the update is not compatible with my printer. Annoying.
Does this mean I should purchase a new printhead? Or will this only be a possible fix? I'm to the point I might just get a new Xerox printer that works.
