HP Officejet Pro 8610 Error: Missing or failed Printheads / not installed properly or missing
[Personal Information Removed]
Firmware Code: FDP1CN2022AR
Hello,
I have unsuccessfully tried to fix the above-mentioned error doing the following:
- Power cycled multiple times
- Normal reset multiple times
- Loosened and re-seat the printhead multiple times
- Loosened and re-seat the print cartridges multiple times
- Exchanged the print cartridges with new ones
- Unsuccessfully tried to downgrade to an older firmware
- Ordered and installed and new printhead and print cartridges
- Semi-full reset per instructions
None of the above worked.
After the semi-full reset, now every time I power-cycle the printer I have to do a full setup again (starting with date, etc.).
I noticed that the firmware seemed to have been updated “automatically” since I didn’t recognize the code – after reading a bit more about it seems this could be the issue (especially since a brand new printhead did not help).
Since there is a semi-full reset, I wonder if there is also a FULL reset?
Any other ideas/ways to fix this?
