HP 8630 when attempting to turn off the printer due to ink system failure, I get the message that it is in the process of initialization / calibration and should not turn off/ depower... it had been this way for some time... I then tried the suggestions for not being able to exit calibration and that does not work either.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Resolving 'Ink System Failure', 'System Supply Problem' Errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
