Have a client getting set up in a new location. They need to be able to reliably receive faxes. The printer/fax is set statically on the network and has not lost connection. They can still print fine and I can ping it without a problem but it will sometimes fail to receive inbound faxes but never experience any VoIP interruptions.

Now the manual does say... Hey.... it may not work with digital service providers but is there a trick to getting these HP units to play nice?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Unfortunately, there is no trick to that. Our Printers do not support VoIP lines.
