HP 8710 Trying to reset, but BL button does not bring up support menu

As the title says, I have read the previous threads on how to reset the printer to get by the locked out network menu, but when I do the BL button 4 times on the Home screen, it does nothing. just makes the button press sounds. Is there any other work-around to get to the support menu?  Here is the video clip i made of it! lol i get annoyed at the end.

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
• I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

As per the video AND Title, the BL sequence does NOT work.
