My 8720 Pro is stuck in a print loop. I have performed a reset on it several times, nothing shows in any print queue on the machine or any of the 3 computers that use the printer.
I don't know of anyone who performs exorcisms on printers
Any suggestions?

Hi @marten
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printing issue.
Let's try these steps -
1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Update the printer's firmware using these steps - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
If the issue still persists, I have sent you a private message with the steps to perform a semi-full reset. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I had gone through a complete reset and now have gone through your suggestion of removing the cartridges.
I have even upgraded the firmware and the printer still continues to pump out blank pages.
The queue says that there are no jobs to be done and the 8720 is not listed on any of my computers at this time.
I need an exorcism on this machine.

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program. It will automatically diagnose and fix any printing or scanning issues. For more information, go to https://support.hp.com/us-en/topic/printscandoctor
Restart the print spooler and try uninstalling the drivers-
Press “Windows key” + “r” to get the “Run” window.
Type "services.msc" to get Services – Go to “Print spooler” – Right-click and “Stop” the service.
Now again open "Run" - Type “spool” and ok - Go to PRINTERS folder - delete everything in that folder.
Go to services again - Start the print spooler.
Now uninstall and reinstall the printer driver -
1. In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program".
2. Look for HP Printer software.
3. Right-click to uninstall.
4. In the search box, type and open “Devices and printers”.
5. In the Devices and Printers, look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose “Delete” or “Remove Device”.
6. Open the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7. Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”).
8. Click on the "Drivers" tab.
9. Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click “Remove” at the bottom.
10. Select Ok.
11. Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.
12. Close Devices and Printers Once the software and drivers are removed.
13. Restart the computer.
14. Download and install the software and drivers from here.
15. Click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
