After rebooting my Dell Inspiron 27 All in One from a syetem error, I am now getting IPP printouts continuosly of 4 lines of information and it does not stop unless i turn off my HP officejet 90110 or remove the paper.
I have cleared print spools and reset factory specs on my printer but cannot get the paper from spewing after each and every print job.
What should I do next?

Hi @Teedoffandon,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
It sounds like your HP OfficeJet 9010 printer is continuously printing IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) print jobs with unwanted information after rebooting your Dell Inspiron 27 All-in-One. This issue can sometimes occur due to a corrupted print job stuck in the print queue or a misconfiguration in the printer settings. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:
Step 1: Clear the Print Queue
Stop the Print Spooler Service:
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Find the Print Spooler service, right-click on it, and select Stop.
Clear the Print Queue:
- Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files in this folder. (You may need administrator privileges to do this.)
Start the Print Spooler Service:
- Go back to the Services window, right-click on Print Spooler, and select Start.
Step 2: Restart the Printer
- Turn Off the Printer:
- Turn off your HP OfficeJet 9010 and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for 1-2 Minutes:
- Wait for a couple of minutes to ensure all power is drained from the printer.
- Turn On the Printer:
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Step 3: Reset the Printer to Factory Settings
Since you've already tried this, ensure that all settings have been correctly reset to default. If not, follow these steps:
- Access Printer Settings:
- On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance.
- Restore Factory Defaults:
- Select Restore > Restore Factory Defaults and confirm.
Step 4: Check and Update Printer Firmware
- Check for Firmware Updates:
- Go to the HP Support website and check for any available firmware updates for your printer model.
- Update Firmware:
- Follow the instructions to download and install any available updates.
Kindly check the next steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi @Teedoffandon,
Please find the next steps below.
Step 5: Remove and Reinstall the Printer Driver
- Remove Printer:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP OfficeJet 9010 and click Remove device.
- Download Latest Driver:
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest driver and software for your printer.
- Reinstall Printer:
- Install the printer driver and software and follow the setup instructions.
Step 6: Disable IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) Printing
- Access Printer Settings:
- Open the HP Smart app or your printer’s web interface.
- Disable IPP:
- Navigate to the printer settings or network settings and look for IPP or Internet Printing Protocol settings.
- Disable IPP if it is enabled.
Step 7: Check for Malicious Print Jobs or Network Issues
- Check for Malicious Print Jobs:
- Ensure no unauthorized devices are sending print jobs to your printer.
- Change your Wi-Fi password and ensure your network is secure.
- Check Network Settings:
- Ensure that your printer is connected to the correct network and that there are no network-related issues causing unwanted print jobs.
Step 8: Factory Reset the Computer (if necessary)
If all else fails, consider performing a factory reset on your Dell Inspiron 27 All-in-One. However, this is a last resort and should only be done after backing up all important data and ensuring all other troubleshooting steps have been exhausted.
By following these steps, you should be able to stop the continuous unwanted printouts and restore normal printing functionality to your HP OfficeJet 9010. If the issue persists, consider reaching out to HP Phone Support for further assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
