HP 9015 same as HP 9018?

Is the HP 9015 printer the same as the HP 9018 printer (as sold at Costco)? Looks identical and as far as I can tell from the specs on the box, they are the same.

Yes, both are the same

Both share the same specifications, as part of the HP Officejet Pro 9010 Series.

I think Costco just markets it under a different number. They are identical printers.

very strange! Sam's club sells them side by side and they are different prices!

That is truly a head-scratcher.  I spoke, directly, with a representative at HP who said (paraphrasing:, The two printers are identical.  The 9018 is sold through retailers such as Costco.  The 9015 is used for the version sold directly from HP.  If this is true, it appears that Sam's being disingenuous or is being duped by some distributor?  Either way, I'd be curious enough to ask.  I am also curious to know the prices for which they are selling each.

I'm going to check at my local Sam's tomorrow. I'm guessing that the 9018 has a higher price....people think 'higher model # means more features'

At local Sam's this morning...

HP9015 and HP9018 were side by side on shelf

HP9015   $198.87

HP9018   $198.87 - $28.90  'special sale'  = $169.87

Salesperson did not have a clue about why they had both or if there was a difference in them.

The HP 9018 comes with a USB cable, the 9015 doesn't.
