HP 9018 locked and I can't unlock it. Help Please

I got a new phone and new network and my printer says it's locked by administrator.  I bought it new and the only user.  How do I unlock it to use it?

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We have to perform a Semi Full Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password. 

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Most current HP models have a default password set for the EWS. This password will be the same as the default EWS password and will be on a white sticker on the back of the printer. The user name is always admin.
