HP Amp
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all - I've had an HP Amp printer for a little over a year now and have always supplied it with ink ordered off of Amazon. Until recently, I have had 0 issues with this printer. However, about 2 weeks ago, the printer stopped working. My investigation indicates that the printer now believes I am enrolled in Instant Ink and that there is an issue with my account. Until that time, I had never heard of Instant Ink. I have never signed up for this. Until posting on this board, I didn't even have an HP user account.

I did some troubleshooting today and the printer will now print again.. sort of. Pages are now printing incompletely or in all green on a black and white document. The Instant Ink icon on the printer display is still active, which is immensely frustrating. When I call HP, the hardware people I need to speak to the Instant Ink people, who tell me that since I am not signed up for Instant Ink that I need to talk to the hardware people, who then send me back to Instant Ink. If I can't resolve this, I'll obviously just move on from HP, but am hoping someone in the community can help.

Thanks!

Hi,

What is the exact product number listed on your Ink Cartridge? I did see HP Instant Ink cartridges being marketed through Amazon by 3rd party retailers, although those should not be marketed in stores.
