I used the recommended HP Brochure Double-sided paper, but got so much streaking the paper was un-usable. Anyone have a solution please? A setting or paper that works?

Your printer requires Injet Paper, NOT Laser printer paper.

You are certainly not the first to have done this. Smiling.
Consider wiping and cleaning a bit (inside the printer) to remove any "extra" ink that may have oozed into the rollers or other areas.
