HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301 Warning Codes, Error Codes, and Scanning Issues

We recently bought an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301. More recently it's started to have issues. User has reported that they are unable to press the button to scan to folder or copy documents. The button is greyed out. The only way to restore functionality is to power cycle the printer.

I dug through the web GUI and found that there are a number of warning and error events occurring:

There is no documentation for this printer that lists what these warning/error events mean.

We also have an additional issue where black lines start to accumulate on scanned and copied documents. We found that the glass above the scan head gets dirty which is causing the black lines. We don't know what is causing this. Originally, we thought it was dirty documents, but we found others with the same issue. Is there any fix to this or are we going to have to return this printer for a refund?

The firmware update of Jun 2024 should have fixed  these problems

• Fixes for various F0.01.02.02 errors when printing and copying
• Fix for F0.01.02.02 error when in a cooling cycle

The printer has been on the latest firmware since September 19th. The firmware update from June 2024 you speak of doesn't fix the issue.

That is the June 2024 release, the version number match

Complain to an agent (see earlier post for contact), return the printer for a refund, and make a report.

The printer is on the June 2024 firmware. It was installed in September.
