Hello All,

I have an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw for some reason the print jobs get stuck in the queue and error out. The strange issue is I tried to access the web portal on the device but it says connection rejected. I can ping the printer with a consistent ping and get replies but when I turn the printer off  it still replies to the ping I don't see how it could reply o the ping when it is off. When back on I can still ping it but I can't send jobs to it I know I have the correct IP address because I printed a network report to verify it. Any ideas why I can't access the web portal to the printer or why it is replying to ings when it is powered off ( I even took the electric cord out of the printer)

Any thought s are appreciated.

Hi @AJINC,

I'd like to help!

To assist better -

  1. What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android or an iPhone?
  2. I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?
  3. Is the printer connected to home or public network?

 Keep me posted.
