Hello HP Community,
We’re having some issues with our old HP Color Laserjet 5550 printer. The first problem was that the paper got wrinkled and sprinkled with cyan residue. First, we thought it was the cyan toner but after replacing it and still having issues we figured the problem lay somewhere else.
The error is a typical 13.09.00 paper jam but opening the front we notice that the paper is wrinkled and stuck in the lower drum. Every time we eject the paper and clear the jam, it happens again, over and over.
I’ve attached a couple of pictures below. Is there anyone who had any similar issues and could help us?
Best regards,
Sebastian

You need to verify that the transfer belt is rotating, the nature of the jam suggests it may not be. We have also seen issues where a loose label on the shutter of a cartridge can cause issues.

Does the printer work if you feed from the MP tray?

Thank you so much! We tried seeing if there were any issues with the transfer belt, it was indeed rotating as usual but when we checked all the cartridges one of them was a bit stuck on the left side of it and now the old printer is running once again. Huge thanks and have a great day!
