HP DESKJET ADVANTAGE 2135 - PRINTER WILL NOT PRINT PAGES

My printer connects to my MacBook Air version 10.14.6 'MOJAVE' - but paper always comes out blank. When attempting  to reinstall my 2 year old HP DESKJET ADVANTAGE 2135 printer (to try and resolve the issue) I receive the following message:"You can’t open the application “HP Easy Start-6” because the Classic Environment is no longer supported". The HP 'Easy Admin' page offered additionally does not open in Safari. No HP installer downloads appear to be available anymore for this printer. What the heck does 'classic environment' mean?  The HP help pages regrettably do not provide any advice on this specific subject.

I would really appreciate any assistance/advice to resolve this problem. Thank you.

 I'd like to help!

I understand the printer prints blank pages and you are unable to open HP Easy start.

The error means that the version of HP Easy start is not compatible with your mac os 

To assist better-

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices? 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.

Also, Try updating mac and printer firmware

To update the printer's firmware, refer - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware 

 To update your Mac, try these steps - How to update the software on your Mac

Uninstall HP Easy Start

• Click on the Spotlight icon and type HP Uninstaller or by opening HP Easy Start.
• Click on Continue to uninstall the software.
• When prompted for password, type in your system password
• You can also uninstall by opening HP Easy Start.

 Download HP Easy Start and install the printer.

• Download HP Easy Start and follow the on-screen to complete the installation.

You can also install the HP Smart App and print and scan using the app.
