Hi @Zenitram,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The solid yellow Info light on your HP DeskJet 4152e indicates that there might be an issue with the printer. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer access door and check for any paper jams. If you find any, carefully remove the jammed paper. Make sure there are no torn pieces left inside the printer.
  • Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink levels. If the ink is low or empty, replace the cartridges with new ones.
  • Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 1-2 minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve minor glitches.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can address software-related issues.
  • Check for Error Messages: If there's an error message displayed on the printer or computer, take note of it. This information can help identify the specific issue.
  • Inspect for Hardware Issues: Examine the printer for any obvious hardware issues. Ensure that all covers and doors are closed securely.
  • Reset the Printer: Perform a reset on the printer. The process for resetting the printer varies, so refer to the printer manual or HP support for specific instructions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for these steps. It turns out that the problem was that I had enrolled in InstantInk, and I had not yet replaced the old ink cartridges (which were not too low) with the new ink cartridges that were sent a few days later. Once I made that replacement, the light went away.
