HP Deskjet 3720

Hi all, I've installed the printer following the user manual procedure. I've an issue with wifi connection.

Network seems to be reached , wifi symbol in the display is on, but I am not able to address the printer.

I have Fastweb as carrier (up to 1Gbit) and the new hug "FastGate" native fiber conncection.

Anyone can help me?

The same printer works fine prior when I have the old Fastweb hug.....

Many thanks in avance.

Giuseppe

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums After reading your post I see that you are getting WiFi connectivity issues on HP Deskjet 3720 printer. I will be a delight to assist you here.

Superb analysis and brilliant diagnosis of the issue before posting. 🙂  Kudos to you on that score.:)

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

  • Are you getting any error message?
  • Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?

Meanwhile

Restore network settings to default settings

Press the Wireless button  and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

Then connect the printer again to computer.

Refer page no.60 in this user guide to connect the printer again to WiFi connection :- https://hp.care/2fEoOiJ

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.
