Hopefully someone can help me with my HP DeskJet 2622 that I purchased for home use. The black ink is empty (65) and I ordered a new ink cartridge that is HP 65XL. When I installed the new ink cartridge it still shows that it is empty. I unplugged the power cord and help down the power button for 15 seconds and then plugged back the power cord. The ink alert that the black ink that I purchased is still empty, any help would be appreciated.

This could be an issue with the ink cartridge or the printer ink system.
If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
