HP Deskjet 2622
Will not print from computer or web but will print copy from scan fine. It was working alright until I tried to print from Adobe PDF, which would not print. Now it won't print anything else from computer. I don't get an error message but I did see on the HP Smart app under Printer Settings, See what's printing, that it shows that User action is required on printer.. but on the printer it shows nothing that is lighted up that requires my action.
I did go through Scan Doctor and it said I needed to uninstall and reinstall software and that I had to download and save new software before uninstalling old. I tried that but the old will not uninstall, I forget the error numbers why. I can try it again later and post that info if needed. I'm not sure that it's even what I need to do or if some setting is screwed up. Please Help!!

Hi @CindyLou5
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "Unable to print from computer" issue.
Let's try a power reset on the printer
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
then,
uninstall the printer software from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.
--->In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
--->Select your HP printer.
--->Select Uninstall.
--->In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
--->In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
--->Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
--->Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
--->Click on the Drivers tab.
--->Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
--->Select OK.
--->Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
--->Close Devices and Printers.
And then reinstall the printer full-featured drivers from software and drivers page
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
