@FatimaJabeen, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP DeskJet 2800e Printing Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your new HP DeskJet 2800e All-in-One printer is not printing, follow these steps to troubleshoot common issues:

1. Check Power and Connections

  • Ensure that the printer is turned on and connected to a power source.
  • Confirm that your printer is connected to your computer or network properly, either via USB or Wi-Fi.

2. Confirm Print Queue

  • Check the print queue on your computer to ensure there are no pending documents that might be causing a blockage. Clear any stuck documents from the queue.

3. Load Paper Correctly

  • Make sure there is paper loaded into the input tray, and that it's loaded correctly. Adjust the paper width guide to fit the paper snugly.

4. Update Printer Software

  • Install the latest printer software and drivers from the HP website. You can use HP Smart app to set up your printer and ensure it’s up to date.

5. Check Ink Cartridges

  • Open the ink cartridge access door and ensure that the ink cartridges are installed properly. If they aren't, remove them and reinstall. Ensure that any protective tape has been removed from new cartridges.

6. Perform Printer Reset

  • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and wait for about 60 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
