HP DeskJet 3700
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I'm looking to purchase a new scanner. I have questions about the HP DeskJet 3700.

1. Can the HP DeskJet 3700 scan pages of a book or booklet? Is it a flat bed scanner or a feeder type scanner?

2. Does the HP DeskJet 3700 print envelopes.  Does it have a seperate feeder tray for envelope printing ?

3. Does the software have OCR built into it?

Tnx

Apologies for jumping in, but I would like to clarify 2 things:

2. The printer support envelopes in select sizes range however do not have a separate tray, you need to remove the plain paper from the input tray and load the envelopes (up to 5) instead.

You may find any supported envelope sizes listed under 'Paper-handling specifications > Supported envelopes' below, or in any custom size within the range of 76 to 216 mm (3 to 8.5 inches) wide and 127 to 356 mm (5 to 14 inches) long:

3. The HP Software provided with the 3700 printer does not support OCR (TXT, RTF, Searchable PDF as an example), a such would require a 3rd party software.

There are some free applications such as NAPS2 as well as paid applications such as IRIS OCR.
