Hello all.

I Got a HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2135 for couple of years now.

a week ago it was printing perfectly fine.

Did couple of driver updates to my lap top ( cpu and gpu) and today that i wanted to print again i have zero response.

When i press Print it puts the file to que and then straight to Delete with ought printing anything.

i used the HP Doctor and couldn't print the test page so i tried to "fix" it my self..

1) i disconnected the usb and tried to remove it from power cable while it  was still on, pressed power button for 15sec and turn it on again.

2)tried new usb cable didn't work

3) re installed the HP Smart app still nothing

4) I uninstalled the printer, deleted the drivers, (couldn't find anything on temporary files)  and deleted  any lefted key with Regedit and re install only the HP Smart  but still nothing.

i run out of ideas so any help is more than welcome!!!

thank you for your time.

@ManosVl, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you are not able to print from the computer. Are you using the HP Smart app to print?

Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use a USB hub.

Check the device manager if the printer is detected.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Hello, I used the smart app and even tho the device is detected still same result.

It prints a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and when I connected the device to a different computer with older drivers it works perfectly fine.

The device is connected directly to the computer and the device manager detects it.

I think I need to re install the old drivers to my computer since it seems the problem is there.

@ManosVl

If the HP Smart app is not working, click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Try printing.

Let me know how it goes.
