Having problems with my HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2775, screen is blank and all my lights are a solid orange. I already tried to disconnect from power for a while and also tried resetting with X button and wifi button but problem is still present. Happened after replacing ink cartridge, worked for a day and then stopped working.

Hi @Kathia767,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2775 printer has a blank screen and all the lights are solid orange, it indicates a hardware or internal issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

Check Power Supply:

  • Make sure the printer is properly connected to a power source and that the power outlet is functioning. Try plugging the printer into a different outlet to eliminate the possibility of a power issue.

Inspect Power Adapter:

  • Ensure that the power adapter and the cord are in good condition. Sometimes, a damaged power adapter or cord can cause power issues.

Restart the Printer:

  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer and wait for about a minute. Then, reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer. Check if the screen and lights return to normal.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Unplug the power cord from the printer.
  • Press and hold the power button on the printer for 15-20 seconds.
  • Release the power button.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer's access door and check for any paper jams or foreign objects that may be blocking the printer mechanism. Remove any obstructions carefully.

Update or Reinstall Drivers:

  • Sometimes, issues can be caused by outdated or corrupted printer drivers. Ensure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer model. You can download them from the HP website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
