Hi,
I purchased an HP Deskjet 1112 in the United Kingdom.
It came with two starter cartridges of HP 63 ink, I have since tried multiple times to get a compatible ink cartridge to replace it.
It seems HP 63 isn't avalible in the UK but it's counterpart is, the HP 302, which I installed but cannot get it recognised by my printer.
Any help or advice would be great - otherwise once the ink in the starter printer runs out I'll be left with a fairly sizeable paper weight.
Thank you.

You will need to Contact HP to request a "Regionalization Reset". There should not be any charge for this, it is covered as part of the cartridge warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer while on the line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once the reset is complete cartridges from the original region will no longer work. HP's web page on the subject is here.
I am not an employee of HP, I am a volunteer posting here on my own time.
