Hi @GAlex74
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand the power button on the printer is blinking. I'd be happy to assist you. This happens when a print job is stuck in the queue.
- Are you able to print or make a copy?
- Are there any other lights blinking?
Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Check for any pending print jobs stuck in the print queue
Go to Devices and printers > Select your printer > Right-click > See what's printing > Delete all print jobs
Restart the PC and the printer. Check for the issue.
If the issue persists, reinsert the ink cartridges and try again.
For more info on resolving the blinking lights issue, kindly refer to this document.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
