Hi everyone,

 

I have a HP Deskjet 3522 and couple of weeks back it just stopped printing. At first I thought, the cartridge ink may have dried so ordered a new HP black ink cartridge, however, printer is still not printing anything. I've tried sending commands from different computers, mobile apps and even tried to print a test page directly from printer but page just comes out as blank.

 

It seems like printer is receiving the print command and data, however, it's not able to print. Just wanted to check on the community if someone else had the same issue and got it resolved.

 

Any direction to resolve this issue is appreciated.

@Sumukh, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Try making a standalone copy in black and color to check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your computer.

 

Clean the printhead and check the vents of the ink cartridges as mentioned under step 5 of this document.

Now, Print a print quality report

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Down Arrow  to select Settings, and then press OK.

  2. Press the Down Arrow to select Tools, and then press OK.

  3. Press the Down Arrow to select Print Quality Report, and then press OK.

  4. Check the test page.

Hi Kumar,

 

Thanks for your response. I have tried printing a test page, copying directly from the printer, aligning the cartridges, and all other hardware operations I could have given from printer itself - but everytime page goes in and comes out as blank, even though it sounds (Re: Printer head) as is printer is printing the page.

 

Any other suggestions?

@Sumukh, that's unfortunate.

 

This could be an issue with the printer hardware. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
