HP Deskjet 3634 Compatible Ink Printing Issues

HELP!!!!!!!!  I am being held to ransom by my HP Deskjet 3634 printer. It won't allow me to print with compatible inks that I have used previously. It then prints test sheets instead of printing what I want wasting ink and paper! This has to be the worst printer ever invented and a total waste of money. DO NOT BUY A HP PRINTER. I paid for this printer. I do not rent it, so it is up to me to decide whether I want to buy cheaper ink or not NOT HP. I want this issue sorting ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!  If you can't sort this, then I would like my money back, plus the money this printer has cost me in wasted paper printing endless and pointless test pages.

Does the printer print if you copy a document?

Any error or blinking lights on the printer control panel?

How is the printer connected, USB or Wireless?

Could you also print a self test page and let me know if the printer prints the report. In order to print the report:

1.) Press and hold the Power button , and then press the Cancel button .

2.) Let go of the Cancel button and then the Power button.
