I'd like to know how to get the printer to print the top and bottom text on a page. I want the whole document to print. Without this, this printer is usless to me.

Thank you for taking an interest in the Hp community. A good day to you. I have read the post. It will be a pleasure to assist you and let us work together to figure out things. Terrific observations and great description of the issue. It is amply appreciated.
- What app are you trying to print from?
- Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the latest version of the app?
- Did you try printing from multiple apps like MS Word or Adobe Reader and check if it prints correctly?
- Did you try making photocopies directly from the printer and check again if it copies correctly to isolate the issue?
- What is the operating system associated with the printer? Is it Windows or Mac?
- What is the version of the operating system associated with the printer?
- Is it a wireless or USB connection?
- Did you try to print multiple files and check if it prints correctly?
- Did you check if the paper that is being used is supported by the printer and is compatible with it for printing?
Furnish all the requested details for us to assist you correctly.
- For now, check the printer's specifications and see if the paper being used is compatible with the printer by looking up the product specs link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-3700-all-in-one-printer-series/8954253/model/1126203... and check the section "Paper-handling specifications" and "supported paper sizes"
Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead

I have tried all of the above, but it still cuts off the bottom of the page. I don’t know how to change this. I know that the “page specifications say 0.5 inch from the bottom” but is there a way to fix that on my computer so the whole document will print? I don’t like it cutting off my pages.

May I know which App or Software are you using to print?
If the document or image is too big then, you might have to resize it to fit onto one page before printing
If the issue persists I suggest you uninstall the printer driver from root level and download the full feature software
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions
Keep me posted how it goes 😊
