Printer only printing every other line. Have tried extended hard reset, new printer cartridges, different paper weight, different PDF converter - there is no paper jam. What is next - I have things I have to print and sign, return.

Hi @AshleyMKennedy,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to deal with printing issues when you have important documents to handle. Here are some additional steps you can try to resolve the problem with your HP DeskJet 4152e.
- Clean the printhead: Use the printer's software or control panel to initiate a printhead cleaning cycle. This can help clear any blockages or dried ink that might be causing the skipping.
- Align printhead: After cleaning, ensure the printhead is properly aligned. This can sometimes resolve issues with uneven printing.
- Update printer firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the firmware can fix bugs or improve printing performance.
- Check for driver updates: Ensure your printer drivers are up to date on your computer. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause printing issues.
- Check print settings: Make sure the print settings match the paper type and size you are using. Adjusting settings like print quality or paper type might help.
- Try a different document: If possible, try printing a different type of document or file format. Sometimes issues can be specific to certain types of documents or files.
These steps should hopefully help you get your printer back to printing correctly so you can handle your documents promptly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
