Hello - I made the mistake of getting an off brand ink cartridge for the tri-color - it has now been replaced with an HP cartridge.  The issue I have is related to the black ink cartridge - which is HP.  I can't get black to print at all.  The color prints just fine.  I've attempted multiple trouble-shooting avenues and most of the needed webpages aren't available on HP Support - 404 error.  I thought I needed to update the drivers however they are no longer available ... at least I couldn't find them.

 

Any help to get the black printing again?

Unfortunately the steps on Pages 140-141 didn't work.  I thought perhaps I had a defective ink cartridge so I replaced it this morning.  And now black is printing!  So it all came down to a bad cartridge!
