HP Deskjet D1668
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi - I changed my laptop and now i unable to use my printer. On this portal i found HP Full-featured drivers are not available for Win 10 Operating system for HP Deskjet D1600 Printer series. And in one of the answer Kumar has suggested to try installing the printer Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver. I followed the steps and i do see most of the old printer series updated but not the Deskjet D1600 series. What are the next options?

@Kadagi, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

This model printer is too old to even have a built-in driver. It has reached the end of life.

Use Deskjet 990c/6980 driver if your printer is not listed.

Refer to this document HP printer setup (Windows built-in driver) for help.

If this does not help, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
