Hello

I own a printer and it never gave me problems, until now. It is not scanning, copying or printing!

When i try ordering from the desktop the documents stand in queue in the "Active Printers", and it just says "printing" in the first document of the queue. When i try to copy a document it does not start to scan, the control panel display stands at "1" (number of copies) and the power button blinks and does not stop. No attention light!

If i try to run a diagnosis or any other order through the HP Assistant Software i get an error window saying that the printer is busy!

It looks like there is an order of some sort (print or copy) blocking new orders. Is there a way of cleaning the memory? Maybe then new orders can be recieved!

I already tried the most trivial solutions:

-reinstallig the drivers

-change the USB port

-unplug power cord while the printer is ON

-dito while is off

-remove cartridge and then power ON

-tried printing the test page by pushing the black and color buttons and it did not print

Thank you!

P.S: English is not my main language, forgive if the text is not clear!

If any of the listed steps did not resolve the issue, it is likely to be an hardware failure and will require serviing the product as listed:

If you have completed all the steps and are still experiencing a problem, continue to the Service the All-in-One section at the end of this document.

To deny any possible cause however I would suggest completly unplugging the device, then connect it to a different wall socket without connecting any USB.. if the same still persists you will need to contact HP if you are still within the warranty period or service the device ig it is out of warranty.

Hello,

Try following these steps and check if that may help:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03279449

Follow the relevant steps to troubleshoot a such, I assume that either The Power light blinks fast for three seconds, and then returns to normal or The Power light blinks can descrivbe such a scenario, follow the one which exactly describe the behavior of your printer.

Thank you for the fast reply!

I searched for solutions in the troubleshooting page before i posted in the forum! I already tried those solutions with no results.

Let me just add that the issue is "The Power light blinks". It blinks for some time  and then stops, and the Segment display counter remains with the quantity of copies remaining.
