Hi, my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4645 couldn't find my wifi. I had touched the  "Restore Network Defaults". And when I touched "Wireless Setup Wizard" to search for network/ wifi, the searching keeps going and my printer froze. Hence, I had to unplug and try the whole process again. Nonetheless, it experienced the same things over and over again. Therefore, I couldn't connect my printer to wifi at all.

I also tried to download driver and connect my printer to a laptop using USB-cable so that i can complete printing jobs. However, it couldn't be set up as my laptop couldn't detect my printer at all. Hope anyone can help me.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Power resetting the printer and updating the printer firmware may resolve this issue. Let us try these steps:

Step 1: Reset the printer

1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

2. Wait at least 60 seconds.

3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Step 2: Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your computer.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Step 3: Print a wireless test report

Press the Wireless button from the printer control panel, and then select Settings > Print wireless test report

Check for Wireless radio > ON

Step 4: Try to run the wireless setup wizard again.

Let me know how this goes.
