@Joan3456, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Your HP DeskJet Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP DeskJet printer is paused, you can follow the steps below to get it unpaused and resume printing:

For Windows:

Open Devices and Printers:

  • Depending on your version of Windows:
    • Windows 8: Point to the upper-right corner to open the Charms bar, click the Settings icon, click Control Panel, and then View devices and printers.
    • Windows 7: Click on Devices and Printers from the Start menu.
    • Windows Vista/XP: Click Control Panel, then Printers.

Open the Print Queue:

  • Double-click the icon for your printer or right-click the icon and select See what's printing.

Manage the Printer:

  • From the Printer menu, ensure there are no check marks next to Pause Printing or Use Printer Offline. If there are, click to remove them.

Resume Printing:

  • If you made any changes, try to print again.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
