HP Deskjet 1050

Hi guys, I have HP Deskjet printer 1050, which uses two cartridges. I have been printing with one cartridge ie black cartridge. Now when i give printing command, there is a massage on laptop screen that tricolour cartridge missing and it does not give option to use one cartridge. How can I continue to print with one cartridge only

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

 

To print in single-cartridge mode, remove one of the ink cartridges, and then continue to print as usual. The printer control panel or computer screen might display a message to install the missing cartridge. To clear the message and continue with the print job, click or press OK.
