HP ENVY 4502 PRINTER WILL NOT PRINT GLOSSY PHOTOS.

Hi, the printer will not print any glossy photos at all, the paper stays between the rollers and I end up with the paper jammed msg, plain paper printing is fine but any size glossy jams. I have found this same question on  the forum but no answer for it;  I have also tried online chat and gone through all the cleaning stages and turning the printer on  its side! no joy there. I'm using HP Glossy paper 250gsm which should be ok but it's not, also tried supermarket brand smaller gsm but no joy there either. Please help.

Hi,

Do you load the Glossy media faced down?

Once inserting the paper and closing teh tray do you see a media size and type selection screen?

What size is listed? what type?

Have you pressed Change and selected Glossy Paper as the media type?

Have you selected Photo / Glossy paper within teh pritn driver too?

Hi Shlomil, yes everything is as it should be in the settings and for paper type, Once I've set up to print the photo paper is pulled into the printer but wont go through the rollers, it sounds as if it's printing but after a minute or so it stops and gives the paper jam msg, the rollers will not feed glossy paper.

I am having the same issue with glossy paper.  Did you ever get it to work?
