My ENVY 4520 printer is giving me a "remove and reinstall" error message that I cannot resolve, despite following those instructions repeatedly. I think I may need a new color cartridge because that seems to be the one that is causing the problem. However, I am on the HP connected instant ink program and it says that it will not send me a new cartridge because I have an unresolved error. I have tried the hard reset, as recommended on other postings, but that did not resolve the issue. I would appreciate help solving this. My daughter URGENTLY requires the printer as she has a deadline this coming Friday. She is a 2nd year Art and Design student. I am close to giving up on HP and the instant ink program and switching to another printer brand.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hey there! @zimlad, Thanks for your prompt response and time.
I appreciate your efforts for sharing the account details.
As the issue still persists after trying out the steps.
It certainly looks like the ink cartridge issue. But not to worry I'm processing an order to ship you both colour and black ink cartridges.
And for all the inconvenience caused to you. I'm expediting the shipment at no cost.
You should be receiving the ink cartridges in a few days.
Hope this helps!

Hi! @zimlad, Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out. Let me ask you a few questions in order to assist you better.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Are you using HP genuine ink cartridges on the printer?
Have you tried printing using a different ink cartridge?
Please share the ink cartridge number you have replaced on the printer.
Excellent description and a great diagnosis done. It is greatly appreciated.
So let's continue with the troubleshooting now.
It sounds like an ink cartridge issue, check the ink levels on the printer and replace the low, empty or faulty ink cartridges.
Replace low, empty or faulty ink cartridges on the printer.
Remove, inspect, then reseat the ink cartridges
The printer might display an error if the ink cartridges are not correctly installed.
NOTE:
If you are enrolled in the HP Instant Ink program, you receive special HP Instant Ink cartridges. Some HP Instant Ink cartridges are larger than standard ink cartridges, but they fit in the carriage in the same way. HP Instant Ink is not available in all countries/regions or for all printer models. For more information, go to HP Instant Ink.

Hi Mate,
Thanks for responding.
Did you make any changes to your printer? - NO
Are you using HP genuine ink cartridges on the printer? - YES
Have you tried printing using a different ink cartridge? - I'VE USED THE OLD ONE AND THERE'S NO PRINTER CARTRIDGE PROBLEM MESSAGE SHOWING UP.
Please share the ink cartridge number you have replaced on the printer. HP 63/302
I'M ENROLLED WITH THE HP INSTANT INK PROGRAM FOR OVER 2 YEARS NOW AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED. THE BLACK INK CARTRIDGE WAS INSTALLED WITHOUT ANY FAULT MESSAGE SHOWING UP.
I'VE DONE THE TROUBLE SHOOTING YESTERDAY AND TODAY BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE SAME PROBLEM EXISTS.
