I need help!
I have tried to set up my new printer and have installed the drivers etc. successfully and habe connected it through Wifi however whenever I try and print either wirelessly or using the USB I get an error code.
The most recent code is 0XB8D192FE.
I have tried resetting the printer, uninstalling the drivers and software and then reinstalling but nothing seems to be working.
Any help would be appreciate.
Thanks,

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.
I would like to help
Are you able to make photocopies?
Do those error codes appear on your computer screen when trying to print or on the Printer display?
Keep me posted
Meantime please perform a Printer Reset
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed
Also update the Firmware from this Link: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-5000-all-in-one-printer-series/14095644/mod...
Let me know how it goes
Thank you and have a great day 😊

Hi there,
Thanks for your help, I have done all of this including updating the firmware (which I'd actually already done).
You asked if it will photocopy and yes it copies things fine. It also scans well - through my network.
Please help.
Thanks so much,
Kylie

You might want to try the following :-
Step 1 : open control panel in your windows OS.
Step 2 : Select System and Security
Step 3 : Select System
Step 4: Change Settings
Step 5: Change Computer Name. Ensure that Full Computer Name is less than 37 characters.
This should resolve your issue temporarily while we work on a solution.
