Hi @RKMY1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like the printer is functioning well with other devices but is having issues specifically with macOS 14.6.1. Here are some steps to troubleshoot this issue.
Reset Printing System
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Right-click (or Control-click) in the list of printers and select Reset Printing System.
- Confirm the reset and then re-add your printer by clicking the + button.
Delete and Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Remove the HP ENVY 6000 from the list of printers by selecting it and clicking the - button.
- Download and install the latest drivers from HP’s official website.
- Add the printer back by clicking the + button.
Check Printer Settings in HP Smart
- Open HP Smart and make sure that the printer settings are configured correctly.
- Check if there are any updates or additional settings in HP Smart that might affect printing.
Clear Printer Queue
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select the HP ENVY 6000 and click on Open Print Queue.
- Cancel all jobs in the queue and try printing again.
Check Printer Status and Firmware
- Ensure the printer firmware is up to date. Check for any firmware updates via HP Smart or the printer’s web interface if available.
Verify Print Settings
- When sending a print job, make sure the correct printer is selected.
- Check the print settings for any unusual configurations or restrictions.
Test with a Different User Account
- Create a new user account on your Mac and test printing from that account. This can help determine if the issue is specific to your user profile.
Check for macOS Updates
- Ensure that your macOS is up to date with the latest patches and updates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
