HP ENVY 7855 printer - can't clear error about communicating with cartridges

I've done everything recommended and still the error that the cartridges aren't communicating with the printer. I've put in new cartridges from HP (Have always used HP cartridges). I've cleaned the cartridge contacts. Done a cold start and restarted computer. Don't know what else to do.  The printer has only printed  about 6,000 pages since I bought it.

Perform a Hard Reset

1. Turn off the Printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer.
2. Unplug: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
3. Wait: Wait for about 60 seconds.
4. Reconnect: Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and the printer.
5. Turn on the Printer: Press the power button to turn the printer back on.

Clean Ink Cartridge Contacts Again

1. Open Ink Cartridge Access Door: Open the door to access the ink cartridges.
2. Remove Cartridges: Carefully remove each cartridge.
3. Clean Contacts:
   • Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water to clean the copper-colored contacts on the ink cartridges.
   • Clean the contacts inside the printer where the cartridges connect.
4. Reinstall Cartridges: Reinsert the cartridges, ensuring they are properly seated.
5. Close Access Door: Close the ink cartridge access door.

Update Printer Firmware

Check for Cartridge Compatibility and Issues

1. Verify Genuine HP Cartridges: Make sure you are using genuine HP cartridges designed for the HP ENVY 7855.
2. Inspect Cartridges: Ensure there are no leftover protective caps or plastic coverings on the cartridges.
3. Try New Cartridges: If possible, try replacing the cartridges with another set of new HP cartridges to rule out defective cartridges.

Perform a Factory Reset (For Advanced Troubleshooting)

1. From the Control Panel: Navigate to "Setup" or "Settings," depending on your printer menu options.
2. Select 'Printer Maintenance': Find and select "Printer Maintenance" or "Tools."
3. Choose 'Restore' or 'Reset': Select "Restore Factory Settings" or "Reset."

Check for Communication Issues

1. Check Connections: Ensure all cables (power, USB, etc.) are securely connected and not damaged.
