HP ENVY Photo 7134 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, I have the following printer HP ENVY Photo 7134 All-in-One Printer Serial number: Product number: Z3M48B not loading to the main menu. All you get on the printer display is a white and blue HP Screen, an a blue line going across it. With 7 dots below. Tried disconnecting the printer and cable from the mains supply for 60 seconds but this doesn't resolve the issue. Could you please help?

Hi @PL2024,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your printer that is not booting up.

A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.

1) Take out the cartridges

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges

B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Evening Irwin6, thank you for your kind reply, I have tried the reset procedure and tried to reinstall the firmware but it appears not to be detecting the printer in Windows 11 with the firmware software do you think it's worth trying it with Windows 10?

Kind regards,

Paul?

Hi @PL2024,

If you are facing any issue using the HP smart app to add your printer on windows 11.

Please try it on windows 10 with the HP smart app again and let me know if that resolves the issue.

OR

Install the printer with Windows built-in driver on windows 11.

You can refer to this document to install the printer.
