I'm trying to print a pdf and keep getting a blue error screen with code C8190D19 on my printer. I have unplugged it and it has cleared several times. I have added a new color ink cartridge and printed a test page without any problems. I try to print my pdf again, and I get the error code again. Please help! Thank you!

Hi @MKEBH,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code C8190D19 on your HP ENVY Photo 7858 typically indicates a firmware or hardware issue related to the print head or ink system. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Make sure your printer's firmware is up-to-date. You can usually check for updates through the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check the Ink Cartridges:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Remove and reinstall them to make sure they’re seated correctly.
Clean the Print Head:
- Access the print head area and gently clean it with a lint-free cloth or a paper towel moistened with distilled water. Be careful not to touch the nozzles directly.
Print Head Alignment:
- Perform a print head alignment from the printer’s settings menu. This can sometimes resolve printing issues.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer.
Try Printing from Another Application:
- If possible, try printing the PDF from a different application or computer to rule out software-related issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
