My HP ENVY Pro 6455 is printing only blank pages, and I can't figure out why. Everything that I try to print is blank, including test pages, despite the printer sounding and looking like it is printing normally. Every time, there is no ink on the page that is being printed. My ink levels are fine, my paper supply is fine, my HP Smart app tells me the printer is online and working fine, and my OS is not telling me there are any errors with the printer. I am trying to print from a MacBook using macOS Big Sur.
I have gone onto these HP forums and found that printing blank pages seems to be a common issue with many HP printers. Some of these threads have included staff posts suggesting troubleshooting steps involving resetting the printer, plugging the printer into a wall outlet, etc., and I have done all of these things. I have confirmed that my printer's firmware is fully updated. Still my printer is printing only blank pages.
The printer worked fine when I first got it. I printed through an entire black-and-white ink cartridge just fine, ordered new supplies when needed, and the printer continued to work normally. I have gone a few months without needing to print anything, and I'm only having this issue now.
This printer was relatively expensive and I'm very frustrated that I can't use it at all right now and that there doesn't seem to be any reason that it's not working. Can anyone at HP help?

You mentioned the printer had not been used for several months. Is it possible the printer was turned off from an external switch or unplugged before the printheads could be properly parked?
I would suggest the following: remove the cartridges and gently blot the printhead of each on a clean damp tissue. A good color cartridge will show a strong blot of cyan, magenta, and yellow, The black would show a strong blot of black. If there is no blot or only a weak smudge, please check that the protective tape has been removed from the cartridge. (Do not touch the electrical connections on the cartridge).
If the above does not resolve the issue it may help to soak the cartridges as follows (this can recover a cartridge that has been exposed to air for a significant time): get two disposable cups. Put 1" of hot water in each. Put the color cartridge in the first cup in the same orientation oot would be in the printer (nozzle plate facing downward). Put the black cartridge in the other cup. Let the cartridges sit in the water for fifteen minutes. Remove the cartridge and gently dry the electrical contacts with a lint-free tissue. (a clean coffee filter works well for this). Gently blot the nozzles with a clean damp tissue. Put the cartridges back in the printer and run the diagnostics as shown in the document here.

Running out of ink
If your printer runs out of ink, obviously the pages will come out blank when you attempt to print out what you need. Most of your HP printers will already have some kind of indicator to let you know that you are running slot. Solution: The solution is a no-brainer. Replace the ink cartridges.

It would be very unlikely that both black and all the colors would run out of ink at the same time. Also, with the style of ink cartridges used in the HP Envy printers, the ink would not stop completely suddenly, it would fade over several pages.
If the cartridges were left uncapped in the service station for months they could have dried out. In that case, replacing the cartridges would resolve the issue, but there may be an alternative available by soaking the cartridges as I described above. @Ahmon - did you get a chance to blot the cartridges on a damp tissue? What was the result?
