My new HP ENVY pro 6400 will only print pdf documents. No images, Word, Xcell etc. will it print. If I go to the document via the printer its light grey and when clicked on nothing happens. If I go to the document first and go Print on the drop down all comes up ok but when press PRINT, nothing. Should be a simple fix but as you can't talk to any one at HP hopefully someone out there can help or I'll have to take the printer back. Talked to Apple (yes the biggest company in the world and they talk to you) and its all fine from their end.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to print documents from your computer.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you check whether there are any updates available for the HP Smart App in the apple store. If yes, update the app and then try printing.

 

If you continue facing the issue, then update the printer firmware from the below link.
