How should I use the Easy Start? I had got my second 7720. The first one went bad. But the instructions only say to go to 123.hp.com site. That is instructions for first time set up. I had to get rid of all my HP apps and downloads to start the new printer.Yes, I did get it started okay, but no clue what I should have done for the second printer. Shoudn't there be instructions with the set up page to tell me what to do? HP needs better instructions!!!!

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

Most of the HP printers uses driverless technologies such as AirPrint or IPP, which don't require additional drivers on your Mac. HP Officejet Pro 7720 printer is AirPrint compatible, you may use the following steps to remove any existing printer driver and setup the printer with Apple AirPrint rather than using HP Easy Start.

Please ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with it's software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

Update printer firmware

Update software on Mac

1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.

3.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button  at the bottom of the list.

4.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.

5.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint or Secure AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.

Select AirPrint from the Use menu

6.) Try to print.

HP Easy start will also install the HP printer essential software's (HP Easy Scan and HP Utility). If you would like to use them, then you may download and install HP Easy Scan and HP Utility from the links below:

I replied a minute ago. I don't think it went through. Thank you Senan6806 for your easy to understand answer. I think your reply should be added to the start-up instructions for 2nd or 3rd printer add-ons. Otherwise people just try to start up with the 123.hp.com site- which is only for first time / first printer set-up ONLY. So beginners like me will know to do differently on the start-up. Thank you again-BIG HELP!!!!!
